August 2008 I was putting a microphone on the guitar amp to start recording guitar parts for the new SGFY recording, and that's when I received a phone call saying my friend Megan had died wile on tour. Megan used to tell me all the time that she wanted to hear me doing some of my songs acoustic. The band SGFY was a byproduct of her pressuring me about it.
I had made a personal promise to myself that I would wait 10 years before I released this recording. It was like one month before the 10 year anniversary of Megan's death when our friend Donny was then stabbed to death.
It's now 2019, that means it's been 11 years since I recorded this group of songs with a bunch of Megan and Donny's friends.
Megan Roscoe and Donny Rivers this entire recording is, and always will be in memory you.
